Why I Am So Passionate About Life by Liz Nichols - SW

My journey to better health began when I was diagnosed with Grand Mal epilepsy at the age of 21. I took up to 5 pills a day to control it. I had it until I was about 38, at which time I was launched into early Menopause. My time with Naturopathic doctors was really the beginning of my fascination of combining our Western Medicine and Alternative Health.

I have been fascinated with Health and Nutrition and was blessed to have a fabulous friend who was a Holistic Nutritionist and I have incredible Naturopathic doctors as well. My physical needs were being met, but something inside me needed care too.

Getting Epilepsy at the age of 21 changed my life, it changed me! It changes how you see yourself, how you feel about things, the world and everyone around you. It causes you to look at everything in a very different perspective.

None of us really know exactly what internal battles we each have.

I felt I had to prove that I could do and accomplish things and I struggled horribly with not being good enough/smart enough…

I felt awful!

I felt labelled.

A fabulous life coach introduced me to Crystal Andrus and The S.W.A.T. Institute about 4 years ago. What a game changer!  Crystal’s courses changed my life.  It taught me my purpose and how I wanted to give back. Since then, I have continued to study, and I will continue to, so that I can perhaps help others in their journey.

And then…

A great friend told me about the Danielle LaPorte licensing program on “The Desire Map” in November of 2014 and that I should take a look at it. WOW!!! I was beyond thrilled and excited to look at it as I have followed and loved Danielle’s work for some time. I had listened to a GREAT call with Crystal Andrus and Danielle LaPorte back a few years ago.

Talk about the right thing coming to me at the right time…  Another Wow!

I would not be here loving what I do as much as I do without these 2 fabulous women.

I have to say I am feeling incredibly blessed and thankful to be a co-facilitator of these AMAZING workshops.

Danielle’s LaPorte’s work has done incredible things for me personally (both women have) and my life has taken off in ways I could not have ever imagined in every area.

My heart is open to love again.

I allowed myself to feel how I would feel achieving a goal, knowing that I deserve this feeling.

I re-evaluated my goals and business / life plan around how I wanted to feel once I achieve them.

In my opinion, Danielle LaPorte’s book The Desire Map is GREAT! I personally LOVE LOVE LOVE it! The Desire Map is an AMAZING tool for holistic living. It puts your Core Desired Feelings at the heart of your goal setting and life planning. Huge Difference!

My Core Desired Feelings are Joy, Inspire, Empower
