Our featured Simply Woman Superstar this week is Sacha Sterling.

Sacha is a Certified Master Empowerment Coach and a Business Strategist for Women. Having met Sacha years ago when she was training to become a Certified Coach through the S.W.A.T. Institute, I’ve seen her grow from a once quiet, young stay-at-home momma with two small children into this brilliant businesswoman and money-maker in her industry. Apart from that, Sacha is such a smart, kind, beautiful, and genuine soul. And though you wouldn’t know it now, she didn’t always want to be a coach.

Sacha can remember her grandmother telling her mom about the coaching industry when she was just five years old in 1990. Living in San Francisco, there was a rising trend of coaching in the Bay Area. Although, at the time, her mother “wasn’t in a place to believe in herself in that way.” Years later, her mother became a coach through Debbie Ford’s coaching school, The Ford Institute, and told Sacha, “You should be a coach,” to which she replied, “I’m never going to be a coach.”

Fast forward a few years later, Sacha was a stay-at-home mom with two little babies, while her husband was out working their brick and mortar business full-time. Although she adored her children, she was struggling internally. One day her sister forwarded her an email with a link to an audio training between ME (yay), and Colette Baron-Reid (my bestie!), talking about this new era of the women’s empowerment movement, and this amazing opportunity for women to self-actualize, make a difference, and create a great income while being home with their families. “I called the 1-800 number the next day and signed up for The S.W.A.T. Institute, and I’ve never looked back,” Sacha recalls.

She credits The S.W.A.T. Institute’s structured support as allowing her to build her confidence and develop her voice in a really fun way. Apart from the learning, it also helped her heal her past wounds and step into the “next version” of herself.

Around this time, she was also looking to leave her marriage but was not financially independent. So, she used that fear and the desire to take care of herself and her girls without being dependent on a man as a catalyst to push through her fears around selling, making money, and rejection. She got serious about marketing, generating leads, and converting them to clients. And in just six weeks, she quadrupled her hourly rate and sold out her first group coaching program, generating over $100,000.

Though she and her husband spent years doing therapy and working on their marriage, they have now decided to go their separate ways. However, they’re doing it in a completely different way than would have been those years ago – because they’re both empowered emotionally and financially. They’re excited about what life will look like for them next, moving to Santa Barbara together in the spring, and being committed to homeschooling, co-parenting, raising their daughters, and being best friends for life.

Today, Sacha has served more than 1000 women over the last ten years, helping them to create their own legacy through entrepreneurship and leveraging the internet while raising families at the same time. She is currently working on relaunching under a whole new brand called, Thrive Virtual, as well as having a fast-growing company and team that she loves. The company is on track for 4.3 million in revenue in 2021 (woot-woot!). Their vision is a world in which women are financially and emotionally fulfilled.
