Our featured Simply Woman Superstar this week is Virginia Ede!

A massive people and animal lover, Virginia has helped countless animals (and humans) overcome their fear and heal their hearts and emotional wounds to embrace a thriving life.

Apart from being a graduate of The S.W.A.T. Institute’s Empowerment Coach Certification, Virginia is also the founder of Maggie’s Farm – Wellness & Educational Sanctuary based in New South Wales, Australia, and a multi-certified Bowen/Reiki Therapy practitioner for humans as well as animals. Though she now spends her days tending to her many rescued horses, chickens, goats, cats, and dogs, to name a few, Virginia’s life wasn’t always so charming.

After leaving her first marriage many years ago, she came to the realization that she had had enough of being the eternal doormat, always looking for love outside of herself. After “closing that door,” another opened, and she met the love of her life – her now-husband, Phil.

Having always had a deep love and connection with Mother Nature and her animal kingdom, Virginia decided to leave her job in P.R. and the hospitality industry to pursue her dreams. Together, she and Phil moved out of suburbia to a completely different lifestyle to create Maggie’s Farm – Wellness & Educational Sanctuary, named after their late beloved Staffy/Beagle, Magnolia. There, they began to rescue and adopt traumatized and abused animals and rehabilitate them. Eventually, working alongside them in the healing journeys of individuals ready to transform their lives.

Today Virginia is continuing to learn and broaden her ever-expanding skillset to make Maggie’s Farm the best it can be. With new workshops and retreats in the works with an emphasis on Empowerment Coaching, trauma release, and strengthening the connection and understanding of Self through animals, Maggie’s Farm and their “family of healing specialists” are continuing to help others release their pain, stress, and anxiety to heal deeply and learn profound compassion.
