Are you dreaming of a coaching business where showing up as your authentic self attracts and signs clients so you can make money and create a positive impact in this world? You are not alone!

For many women, deciding to become a coach and an entrepreneur sounds exciting, glamorous and relatively simple. We see posts and ads about people making $60 000 in a week and how to easily make 6-figures a year even if you are a brand new coach and honestly, so much of this is exaggerated and sometimes it’s even out-right lies.

The internet makes it look like growing an online coaching business will be easy and fast but the truth is that if you talk to any successful entrepreneur, there was hard work involved, at least at the beginning, and they had to hustle to make their dream happen.

The great news is that when you match your energetic frequency to your strategy, it really allows you to go so much farther, faster without overwhelm and frustration. You’ll be able to trade the hustle for flow work.

When you are building a new coaching business, you often have a lot of questions about where to start, what to do first and what strategy to take.

Some new entrepreneurs think “well, I just need to make a website and then people will be able to find me and I’ll have clients” but this isn’t true. There are so many websites and coaches out there that you need to send people to your website if you want to sign clients through it.

Or maybe you’ve heard about growing a facebook group to find clients, or that building a huge audience on your business page and creating an Instagram following is the way to be successful.

And then of course, you’ve heard that you just HAVE to have an email list and to do that you need to create an opt-in and funnel to grow your email list. And what about Facebook ads? Instagram ads? and Pinterest ads?!

There are so many strategies out there that if you don’t have the guidance and direction of someone who has already done it, it becomes extremely overwhelming.

Many new coaches try one thing for a little bit and it doesn’t work so then they try another strategy and another and another until they start to think thoughts like “Maybe I’m not cut out for this.” or “Maybe I’m not meant to be a coach.” and “This is so hard”. Then they start to feel discouraged and even badly about themselves. Some even give up and walk away from coaching…but it doesn’t have to be this way.

There is another way.  There’s a way to know which strategy will work for you, a way to hustle without becoming depleted, and  a way to attract clients that feels fun and easy.

Luckily, I have discovered a process that turns the hustle that is necessary to be successful intol fun and easy flow work. I’m not going to lie to you and tell you that you won’t have to work, because you do. But I will tell you that it doesn’t have to feel hard, overwhelming, frustrating or exhausting.

The first step is to uncover the true you and to step into your full power as a woman. You want to get really clear on who you are and what your purpose is here on this earth. How do you want to change the planet before you leave it? What is the universe trying to express through you?

This is very important as you create your business and brand because if you aren’t solidly rooted in who you are as your true self, it’s too easy to be swept up by what everyone else is doing and end up with something that doesn’t suit you. When you truly understand and know yourself then you can create your business & brand around your true essence which is what you’ll need to stand out from all the other coaches.

There are lots of coaches out there but there is only one you, and you were created with a unique energy blueprint to serve a special purpose – when you truly tap into that, then you can create a captivating, stand out brand and business.
Also, If you don’t know exactly what your purpose is, you won’t be able to take action steps towards it. You’ll get stuck in figuring out exactly what you want to teach, how you are going to do that and who you want to serve.

One of my clients Jennifer came to me because she had a business coach who was telling her what she should do but she wasn’t able to take the necessary steps or to be consistent with them. She was so frustrated and feeling really defeated. We discovered that the business she was trying to build wasn’t actually in her area of genius. It didn’t match with her true self and so the strategies that she was trying to implement did not feel good. When we made a slight shift to her business, she was able to start taking action and is now making money doing what she loves.

The second step is to truly understand who you most enjoy serving. This step can hold back a lot of heart-let entrepreneurs because they want to help everyone. But when you are trying to serve everyone, you can’t connect with anyone. With a broad message, none of your audience will feel that you are speaking directly to them.

If you don’t know exactly who you will enjoy sharing your energy with, you will not be able to connect with them. You will not be able to speak to them and their needs and then of course they won’t know that you are exactly the person who can help them.

So make sure you get really clear on who you want to serve and what the problem is that they want you to solve. The best way to do this is to market research where you get people on the phone and talk to them. Ask them about themselves, their dreams, their struggles and their daily lives. Use this information to carefully craft a message that resonates with them, a message that compels them to take action.

On an energetic level, this is important too because clients stay where they feel loved so in the best interest of your business, you’ll want to be able to truly love your clients. Appreciate them and celebrate them. If you are working with people you don’t enjoy, they will unconsciously feel it.

The third step is to create clarity around what sort of business strategies you like. And again this is important because if you have a lack of clarity around what strategies feel good to you, you’ll end up trying to follow someone else’s strategy and just because it works for them, it doesn’t mean that it will work for you. They have a different energy than you, they likely vibrate at a different frequency and enjoy different things.

This is why I never tell my clients exactly what strategy they have to take. I offer different proven strategies that create success and then match the client’s individual’s energy to a strategy that feels good in their soul. And this is why the first step is so important – because we need to have a clear picture of who you really are so that we can select the strategy that will work best for you. You need to know what you enjoy doing and what you don’t. You need to know your talents and skills as well as what you aren’t so good at. You’ll want to identify which strategies do you enjoy, which feel fun and uplifting instead of dragging you down.

Just recently, I started working with a client who was feeling stagnant in her business. She’s a beautiful coach with amazing energy and she was finishing up with a couple clients and didn’t have any more leads coming in. She also was feeling uninspired to show up for her business and didn’t really know what direction to go. We got really clear about her specific purpose here as well as her unique gifts and matched them to a strategy that felt authentic, exciting and just so right deep in her soul. She became extremely excited and motivated to implement the strategy because it felt so fun and signed 5 new clients that month with ease. This strategy also is quickly growing her engaged audience without the use of paid ads.

This is truly the most important step because if you choose to implement a strategy that doesn’t match your energetic frequency, your audience will feel the disconnect. They likely won’t know on a conscious level but something will just feel off – and they won’t choose to work with you.

The fourth step is to get support from someone who is doing what you want to do. Whether you find a Biz BFF, an accountability buddy, join a mastermind or hire a coach, you want to make sure they are the right match for you energetically and strategically. You don’t want someone that doesn’t feel good to be around energetically and you don’t want someone who just spews her strategy at you and tells you that it’s the only way to be successful. You want someone who takes the time to really get to know you, who helps you understand the different business strategies available and can create a solid, feel-good business strategy that feels good to your soul.

If you don’t match your soul’s energetic blueprint to your business strategy then you are not going to find attracting clients (ie. marketing) enjoyable, and then you’ll resist taking action and you’ll procrastinate. That email or Facebook livestream that could go out today won’t go out until next week, if at all. You’ll start to feel frustrated and overwhelmed and then the doubts start to arise. Sometimes the doubts get so bad that women start to consider giving up their dreams and that breaks my heart and why I am so passionate about helping women create a business strategy that matches their souls energetic frequency.

Time flies by quickly and so if you aren’t making the most of it, a month or year will go by and you’ll find yourself still in the same place….and how would that feel?
