Your Weekly Overview March 9th – March 15th, 2020

Spring cleaning, spring training. How about an early start to both? A full moon in wellness-obsessed Virgo this Monday, March 9 brings some order to our courts. Get ready for potentially not-so-great visuals, eek! Life’s messy areas will be illuminated, from the dust bunnies under our beds to the Class Passes we bought, printed and basically never used. Don’t waste time ruminating over what you see. Just use the galvanizing force of these moonbeams to get back into action. Opt for eco-friendly, sustainable, clean and green. Instead of pouring bleach and toxic chemicals everywhere, mix up cleaning sprays with white vinegar, baking soda and essential oils. Break out the sage wand to clear out any stale energy—this alchemical full moon can guide us to select crystals that will charge our spaces with great vibes. Living things, like plants and live foods can also be restorative. Since Virgo is the sign of service, be honest with yourself: Could you use a little support with your life improvement missions? It might be a worthy investment to hire a pro to deep clean your apartment. Want to reboot your body (AKA your soul’s temple on Earth)? Sign up for a health coach’s 21-day program with menus, workout videos and a Facebook support group. What goes around comes around. Seize any moment to share an empowering tidbit or helpful resource with someone in need of a lead. Virgo is all about practical magic and grassroots community organizing—simple, effective and in the trenches. You don’t have to apply for a grant before you can make a difference. Look around! One random act of kindness could start a movement this week.

Later Monday, lift the gag orders! After a choppy three weeks, messenger Mercury wakes up from its befuddling three-week retrograde in Pisces and Aquarius and powers forward through Aquarius until March 16. With the messenger planet backstroking mostly through the Fish’s murky waters since February 16, emotions may have overtaken everyone’s better senses. If you found yourself crying “inexplicably” or for a damn good reason, you’ll have to admit that the tears were therapeutic. But enough of this three-hanky drama! With Mercury back on track, the chronic misunderstandings that disrupted March can give way to healing reconciliations. Contracts that were held up in red tape could finally move into the negotiation (and signing!) phase. But don’t lose the important message Mercury retrograde taught about the pitfalls of skimming the surface instead of finding out what lies beneath. Even if you learned this in a tough love kind of way, you can move into the spring with a new resolve to slow down, get every question answered and read the fine print.
